Preservation Alliance Award Programs

The Preservation Alliance recognizes achievement in historic preservation throughout the region.

The annual Preservation Achievement Awards, given at the annual Preservation Achievement Awards Luncheon during Preservation Month (May), honor projects involving the preservation or protection of historic resources including the restoration, rehabilitation or adaptive reuse of historic properties, sympathetic new construction or additions to historic properties or education, documentation and advocacy work on behalf of historic preservation. Commercial projects are eligible. Award nomination deadline is January 29, 2010.

SUBMIT AN AWARD NOMINATION.

The Homeowner Awards are limited to residential projects, undertaken by individual property owners, either do-it-yourself or by a professional contractor. The Homeowner Awards are given at the annual Old House Fair in March.

Projects in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties in New Jersey and New Castle County in Delaware are eligible.
