Old House Fair

The OLD HOUSE FAIR grew out of the Alliance’s mission to provide technical assistance and educational activities that encourage restoration and reuse of historic buildings. We recognize that preservation is community driven and begins with the efforts of dedicated stewards who tend their historic houses.

Due to budget and logistical considerations,  the Preservation Alliance will not present the Old House Fair this year, but hopes to stage it again in 2014. Visit this page for more information as it evolves.

Although we will not present the Old Hose Fair this year, we are pleased to promote the following event for owners of older and historic homes:

The Preservation Alliance is pleased to be a promotional partner for this exciting event. The Historic Home Show is the event for anyone who wants to learn about, restore, renovate, decorate, or care for old houses and preserve our architectural history. This show is an invaluable tool for both professionals and homeowners!  The Designer Craftsmen Show celebrates the most time honored American craftsmen in the nation, featuring the highest quality in fine art, traditional crafts, contemporary folk art, museum quality replicas, original artworks and fine furniture reproductions.

The expo will also feature relevant lectures and demos and  exhibitors, including architectural salvage, art restoration, floor coverings, furniture restoration, millwork, windows, 18 & 19th century reproduction furniture, redware pottery, hand carved folk art figures, and handwoven textiles.
