Preservation Alliance Young Friends

Preservation Alliance Young Friends get things done! This energetic group of Alliance members under the age of 40 takes an active role in promoting the benefits of preservation through exciting events, tours, lectures, hands-on preservation service days and more.

Alliance Young Friends host a variety of events throughout the year offering regional young professionals the unique opportunity to advocate, learn, network, and socialize.

Past events include:

• Sky Line Soiree a rooftop reception atop the Left Bank Lofts with the best view in town!
• History of Brewing Trolley Tour of Philadelphia’s historic breweries and taverns.
• The Future of Philadelphia – Delaware Waterfront Happy Hour Cruise.
• Saturday Salons featuring Market East, Queen Village, Northern Liberties and more.
• YF Service Day – Preservation Rehab in Camden, NJ with Habitat for Humanity.

The Preservation Alliance Young Friends are guided by the Young Friends Steering Committee, a group of dedicated young professionals entrusted with the task of designing new and enticing events with their demographic in mind; of engaging their demographic to be more active advocates for the preservation of our historic resources; and in helping to promote the benefits that accompany your membership with the Preservation Alliance as an active voice for the community.

The YF Steering Committee meets monthly to discuss best approaches for promoting preservation as a community development tool and enhancing our region's quality of life.

HYPE! (Hip Young Phriends Events)
As a member organization of the Young Friends non profit consortium HYPE! The Preservation Alliance and over 20 of our area's arts non profits focus on developing stronger bonds between the many opportunities for charitable support in our area. Pooling resources helps us to maintain an active connection with young professionals while allowing us an additional vehicle for program and event promotion.
