Significance:
Founded in 1881, the Morris Brown AME congregation moved from 2434-2438 Ridge Avenue (see entry) to this location sometime after 1962. According to Cooperman, the congregation now occupies the former Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church building, designed by Frank Miller ca. 1885.
