Significance:
Founded in 1896, the Nazarene Baptist congregation's continued growth led the church to move from its first home at 1462 W. Lycoming Street (see entry) to this new building, completed in 1996. According to Cooperman, the 1996 building is the major element in a campus that still includes the former church building.
