Significance:
Founded in 1880, the Berean Presbyterian Church congregation moved from its former home at 1906-1926 S. College Avenue (see entry) to this location sometime after 1962. According to Cooperman, the congregation moved into a building originally constructed in 1888 for the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. The 1888 building was designed by prominent Philadelphia architect Theophilus Parsons Chandler; architect J. Franklin Stuckert added a Sunday School building in 1909, and altered the school building in 1910 and 1915. The Berean Presbyterian Church continues to occupy this location.
