Founded in 1919 by William, Nicholas and Charles Bregenzer, for three generations Bregenzer Brothers Company, Inc. has specialized in high quality roof and building contracting work. In 1991, Mike Bregenzer took over sole ownership and operation of the family firm from his father Bill Jr. and has concentrated on high-end slate and copper roofing work. In 2019, Bregenzer Brothers joined efforts with EDA Contractors.

Our facility in Ewing is equipped with a full complement of slate and copper cutting/shaping equipment. Our custom designed computerized metal break and cutters can apply our finely-honed craftsmanship and technical expertise to roofs of any size or level of difficulty. Specializing in the historic restoration and preservation of buildings of all shapes and sizes, Bregenzer Brothers have earned a reputation for providing outstanding craftsmanship and service. The technical range and artistry of our copper and slate work is evident throughout many prestigious campuses, churches and institutions in New Jersey and surrounding communities for many decades.
